Gilly has gained experience in musculoskeletal conditions, orthopaedics, workstations assessments and ergonomics, elderly rehabilitation and discharge planning. This experience has given Gilly a broad knowledge of many areas of Physiotherapy and therefore enables her to tailor treatment individually to patients whatever their need.
Gilly also has a special interest in Vertigo, Migraine and balance problems and has had a lot of success in treating these conditions.
Shaun has been providing Physiotherapy to the Wigan and St. Helens area since qualifying from Teesside University in 1996. He has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of managing muscle and joint problems, having worked continuously in the local NHS...
Shaun has worked privately at Fairfield Independent Hospital, and with professional Rugby league teams. In 2006, Shaun successfully completed a Masters degree in Neuromusculoskeletal Dysfunction at Manchester University, and more recently has been working as an Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Practitioner.
This comprehensive knowledge and experience has provided Shaun with an appreciation for all aspects of managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal complaints and injuries. Having worked closely with Podiatrists for several years, Shaun has specialised in the management of lower limb injuries, combining knowledge of lower limb biomechanics (function) and rehabilitation.
Steph is an HPC registered Podiatrist and Member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists. Steph qualified from the Cardiff School of Chiropody in 1986. Her career to date has mainly been working within the NHS, both as a clinician and a manager...
Steph enjoys all aspects of Podiatry, but has a specialist interest in wound care. Steph carries out clinics most Thursday evenings and alternate Saturdays and regularly carries out Nail Surgery.
Paula has studied a range of Diplomas in Holistic therapies, gaining her Level 3 VCTC certificates in each. Paula worked as a qualified dental nurse for 13 years prior to retraining at Runshaw Adult College as a Massage Therapist in 2005...
She followed a great interest in this area and decided to make it a career. She now has over 7 years experience in this field. Paula also practices in Reiki to Masters Level; she believes Reiki enhances all her treatments, which in turn enhances healing for each client on both physical and mental health levels.
